Defence
today,
i stood strangely still,
always on the defence,
clouded in suspense.
i travelled across the bounds of reality—
teetering on the edge of sanity.
i washed my cage,
but i cannot be free.
can i become what i want to be?
can i sail the rough, tear-stained sea?
