Out of Your Arms

out of your arms
no more romance
romanticising this life
you talk of dreams forever
i hope you find a light
out of this madness
living in your crowd
dense with sadness
time to rearrange –
what appears to be a mess
no one can say –
i have not held you to my chest
out of your arms
where morals start to blur
there is no reasoned argument
no, i concur
this time there is not belief
where once i left my heart
now it follows my feet
