People Add Layers
people add layers –
to their personality
but i see through them all
i see the hurt and the pain
i see the confidence so small
i see the times –
when they cried on their own
and i see their sadness
as it tries to catch the last bus home
i see how they feel so alien
people try to be somebody
any kind of reality
insecurities come –
rushing to the fore
you can only be yourself
it is no less and it is no more
i know you use other names
just for other situations
change with the games
people add layers
yet somehow, they still look the same
