Age of Chance – Written Tuesday 2nd November 2010 (aged 35)

Age of Chance

you are living –
in your age of chance
a time to fly
instead, you sit inside
a world of problems
a prisoner of the tide
you complain –
about the life you have
yet you never change
just sit there, looking sad
you talk about –
wanting to change
but you never change a thing
you are living –
in your age of chance
the golden age
when you can play
without feeling regret
an age when opportunity
is free of just for let
yet all i hear
is the same old complaints
it is your age of chance
your time to live
a time to have that dance
