Believing in Yourself

believing in yourself can be hard
when it feels like the rest of the world –
is trying to knock you out
hold you down,
while you struggle, scream and shout
they say,
you only hold yourself back
am i to believe,
that the world never attacks
is that,
just a figment of my wild imagination
something fantastical that i have imagined
all these unjust situation
believing in yourself can be hard
and it can take a toll
you must hand on,
you must take control
you must take hold
and you must never ever let go
believing in yourself can be hard
but surely, it is something we must know
