Lemon on the Truth
the nastiness
and the venom in the words
revealed the child
rejected and hurt
never grown up
since the time
a father abandoned them
the nastiness
like lemon on the truth
so much hurt
it becomes blinding
crying out in rage
lashing out at the one
who has a key for their cage
the nastiness
comes thick and fast
it keeps on coming
forgiveness does not last
