Pass the Parcel
these days,
i defend my position
oh, i know i am mad
i always have been
i inherited it one christmas
a present from mum and dad
but my madness,
is the same as yours
the endless banging
on closed doors
not the, ‘look at me’,
which, if truth be told
really means, please understand
because i fear i will fold
these days,
i throw occasional soundbites
from the ramparts of my castle
i inherited my madness at christmas
it came from a game of pass the parcel
