Like Father (Like Son)
fine –
if i am, ‘rubbish’
as you keep telling me
as you constantly tell me…
i will walk away
fine –
if i really abused you
as you have accused me of
and i did, ‘nothing right’
if i was this, ‘nasty’ –
‘pond scum’ of a person
as you keep telling me
fine –
that is what i am,
i will just leave
i will be the bastard you want me to be
that is what i am
if that is what you believe
fine –
like father, like son
someone should –
wrestle the pistol from you
that permanent gun
always shooting your feet
that cannot be much fun
