(Who Knows) What the Future Holds
who knows –
what the future holds
all those stories
not yet told
all those buildings
that we must mould
who knows –
what lies around the corner
lampost or person
we just do not know
yet, it is bound to be a lesson
who knows –
whether the clouds will travel
or the sunflower will grow
i do know, you are wonderful
so let it show
so let it grow
so let them know
who knows –
what the future holds
let these feelings grow
let those ideas flow
because none of ever know –
what our futures hold
