Catch Another One – Written Tuesday 24th October 2000 (Aged 25)

Catch Another One

i guess it is just me again
waiting for another bus
one to take me away from here
in my life,
i have rode upon a lot of buses
and sometimes i have felt in fear
so this this bus,
it never reached its destination
it run out of fuel
it run out of conversation
i have rode all the buses i have seen
some big, some small
some a nightmare, some a dream
i have even rode the buses,
that liked to scream
buses to me are so strange
the destination seems to change
and where you end up,
is not was suggested at the start
i will wait for another bus
perhaps the right one will come along
i guess it is just me again
i wonder if the wait will be that long
