Ignorance and Fear

of course
‘ban the burka’
why not…
that will change your crap job
that will make you better
that will improve society for all
that will give you the much needed height
and stop you feeling so small
so go ahead,
ban it
that will increase your intelligence
make you think about others more
that will get you a bigger house,
a better car
it will not disprove of course,
that your attitude problem has not taken you –
very far
the ignorant fearful people in favour –
of such bans
actually seem so distasteful
and indeed, so very very wasteful
