Racist Narratives
it is clear
that some people see themselves
as, ‘non racist’
but clearly they have sympathy
with the frustrations
and changes they see
they are not racist
just, ‘sympathetic’
a kind of, ‘racist light’
i do not like far right groups
but when friends share them,
well, that is their choice
and there is the ace card
you cannot deny people their voice
ah, but you can set a standard
and challenge their view
but they do not like the challenge
and therein lies the clue
because they share some of the points
‘not racist’
just sympathetic to perceived frustrations
assuming,
that those frustrations must be right
not racist, of course!
just racist light…
but racist nonetheless
