When Sex is a Currency

when sex is a currency
abuse is never far behind
those who do not know this
will never know boundaries or lines
how strange i find it
crude or vulgar parents
somehow end up
with over sexualised children
how and when did they learn that???
when sex is a currency
abuse is never far behind
the boys do the abusing
the girls become so abused
have babies,
and never present unpredictable news
when sex is a currency
abuse is never far behind
could the links be made
or does self esteem become added –
to the list of things too easily laid
when sex is a currency
abuse is never far behind
