The Poem
the poem, it gives you control
over the person you want to be
because in the, ‘cyber world’
no one can see
the poem, it gives them the chance
to present the person,
they have always imagined
away from the moving world
where we are all examined
the poem, it allows the applause
it allows some kind of validation
and it allows acceptance
the type that is never given in real life
the poem, acts like a guiding light
the comments allow certain readers
to know where the poem is coming from
but.. the poem,
is it really them?
