When Will This World Learn?
it is a wild world
for all this global warming
there is an awful lot of cold
and an awful lot of loneliness
i would like to stop exchanging gunfire
and exchange it for a little tenderness
i would like to work out the impossible plan
it is a wild world
there is not much that we really understand
despite all these scientific advances
we have squandered so many changes
now it is only the devil that dances
for all this change we see
the world turns wild
the adults are the ones who think about it
it is a shame that the leaders act like a child
it is a wild world
where the ability to move planes
has disappeared and replaced with military might
everything these days is aggression
there is a chemical on the strings of my kite
my hands are fatally burned
we watch in despair, when will this world learn?
