A Good Man
i try to be a, ‘good man’
work hard,
put my, ‘soul’
into canals that run through my heart
maybe i should stop caring
let confidence not be so overbearing
i am sleeping but not weeping
but i do long for some actual sleeping
the world,
it batters you from side to side
so you must keep the smile flowing
i try to be a, ‘good man’
