Sunshine Bright – Written March 2004 (Aged 29)

Sunshine Bright

saturday night
and we all start to think
of where we have been
you know,
i was a teenager once
a very different human being
and now i am older
finally starting to find my home
i remember,
when i was just nineteen
and when you were all alone
and we thought
life would somehow always be the same
sunday morning
and it is all so sunshine bright
but this march,
has been far too cold
so it is time to look forwards
because it feels so hard growing old
