Opposite Ends
it feels like –
people have been pushed –
to opposite ends
and as we remain divided
it means we can never be friends
social media,
expolls our daily trends
differing opinions offer us a lift
that only ever,
drives us round the bend
generational gaps
are too wide to mend
and no one can turn off the hateful tap
and there is no plumber for whom we can send
it feels like –
