Thank You for the Awful Advice
people
are not happy
unless,
you follow conformity
yet it has,
made them deeply
unhappy
and dependent on tablets
yet they,
urge you to do it
feeding off,
life’s sweet shopping list of conformity
pick from it…
buy into it…
and as they impart this advice
you know, you must…
their eyes glaze over
and fill with dust
well, it may work for you
they say,
it did not work for me
no, i say, you are depressed,
fall of sadness
and deep deep regret
people are not happy
unless you have –
clambered down some cliffs
as if,
we all have to just fit
