Instructions Not Included
no one –
gave me the instructions
this life –
no maps and no clues
just emotional bits
and then, no glue
fairytales –
that almost feel true
i know –
because i can see, you see
lies that grieve for the truth
that we once readily perceived
this life –
no one –
told me how i should make it
break it –
fake it –
take it –
shake it –
then finally, maybe –
you may just about create it
