sunshine is mine
mine for keeps
mine is a good drink
one that helps me sleep
this is my world
would you take a peep
this is my talk
a gateway to another world
do you fancy a walk
sunshine is mine
and you are always on my mind
would you be here for keeps
no swapping about
these are my eyes
let them fall like a wall
please lift up my disguise
the one that leaves me as a fool
you have crawled right inside
but life’s irony is always cruel
and it never dies
i expect it every time
so it comes as no surprise
