King of Crazy

freedom is a funny thing
we fight,
for the right to choose
but never understand the responsibility –
that choice may bring
it makes freedom
king of crazy,
half scaring you to death
freedom of important
as savage as your temper
as needed as your breath
freedom lies in the gutter
and begs in the streets,
it fights in many revolutions
and comes with stone set beliefs
