And Something More

i have been used
i have been a toy
something for people to look at
and to be amused
frozen days on the end of a line
cold nights,
where i wish to dine
with the finest people
life’s a wishful event till the end
i have been a one night stand
but soon i fell
and i nearly understand
still so much to tell
i could have been you friend
and something more
i could have let you in
through an open door
you could have been a dream
someone to live and die for
but it never did begin
ad so much goes on
i have been everything
to anyone, and something more
something more for the crowd
