Taking God Out

i woke up at ten to eleven
i had just got back
from some kind of heaven
i took god out to show him
how the world really looked
i had to go really far
because god was never near
but when i bought god to earth
god said,
it is a long time since i have been here
and i looked at god
and i am sure we both cried a tear
