Just Me – Written Saturday 5th November 1994 (Aged 19)

Just Me

i am just me
on the outside, i might change
inside i am still the same
i still feel the same things
i have just changed my dreams
that is all

do you get it?
i am only ever the fool –
that stays still
does absolutely nothing
has no will
tells people the are doing wrong
whilst they try to pretend to be perfect

i am just me
a self destructive lunatic, maybe
high on eccentricity, definitely
but inside i am still the same
how could i change
why would i want to change
