Toytown Blues
people all look the same
it never rains
and no one knows –
who to blame
and i never know
the things inside
the things i steal away
and try to hide
people do not change
just move –
in a mechanical dance
minds are all washed away
like they are in a trance
feeling all by yourself
no one by your side
but just step out
and take a look inside
with your clockwork shoes
and your wounded mind
you have got the toytown blues
with nothing inside
