The Luxury of Youth
the luxury of youth
gives way
to different days
and though it should not matter
this idea of age
often, it feels
as if we are living from the page
dwelling in the past
even when it does not matter
watching time go so fast
with every new chapter
the luxury of youth
the freedom even in pain
even when life is caustic
and doused in pain
