Head Over Heals

i fell in love with you
head over heals
you taught me to live again
and how it truly feels
of course now,
you have met someone else
moved in together
and you do what couples do
i just wonder how much you care

i fell in love with you
i see you now and something of –
what i felt, remains
know that we will never have it again
you taught me to feel alive
and not to just accept
if only our situation
could have been different
i saw you today and could not help
but look your way
