Pragmatic – Written Monday 3rd May 2021 (Aged 46)

Pragmatic

my life
is made from pragmatism
it is fashioned
from being dogmatic
and i make decisions
clothed in something haptic
i live life
like a amateur dramatic

my life
is unsteady on its feet
but it still moves forward
it dances with very little skill
but i am never in doubt about its movement
or the way it feels
it does run away from me
but it comes back to me after some commands
it takes chances
and remains, on demand

my life
is a story about pragmatism
and then blind hope
it is about unsung comedians
and the skill of their jokes
it is fashioned
like something so dogmatic
and over time,
i have lived to the idea of being pragmatic
days gone by where chaos incarnate
these days, i take time and be less dramatic
