Rough Ended Eyes
they wear their, ‘dragged up’ –
like some baggage of normal
their – life trauma
like beautiful fauna
they look at me
and make judgements
without knowing me
the places i have been
and who i have had to be
do they think they are the only one?
the only who has had to scrap
clean up unwanted crap
have broken lives –
carried upon my back
do they have rough ended eyes
that reveal a toughness inside
or is the truth that –
their they are broken
and their brain is busted and bent
their weakness spreads like an illness
and their life is ill-spent
bad luck found them
and their were readily caught
but they are not the only one
