Careful With Each New Door
it is there
on the tip of my tongue
i almost say it
then the words stare at the sun
of course you know
but for now
we put it to one side
for now we are climbing
and for a while we must hide
it is there
absolutely,
it is like something,
that runs inside
i know that when you look at me
it reflects something in my eyes
i go to say it
but then, i leave a pause
we are making our way
but be careful with each new door
