A Story to Tell
i looked on ebay
and i saw,
that you had –
put up your responsibility
and that it was for sale
i did not bid,
for i knew it has always hid
i saw your eyes
and saw a belief of –
‘i will always fail’
i saw it buried beneath
and peeking through the iris
longing and belonging
clinging to self doubt’s virus
i looked on the internet
and i heard –
a notification bell
you are a rag and bone lady
who has a story to tell
