Life is Not So Bad – Written October 2008 (Aged 33)

Life is Not So Bad

life is not so bad
not when you are taking shadows
and making them looks less sad
i held you till eleven
but then, i had to come home
and when i think about it
life is not so bad
you give me a throne
making me feel like a king
and if life is not so bad,
then i will have you as my queen
but, take my face and make it less sad
warm up these sometimes tepid days
because, life is not so bad
