It is Over

It is Over

it is over
though the pain will turn to embers
over a period of time
and for a while
peace will be hard to find
it will, over time
get easier on loved ones
and the very best friend
it is over
crooked dreams fall away
and decay in the mud
though the pain may be too much
and for a while 
it maybe hard to find a smile
