City – Written March 1994 (Aged 19)

City

i need the city atmosphere near
i need the cityscape in my vision
just make things clear
because the city blues
do not seem to exist
city life,
it is hard to resist
cityscape seems alright
i do need that city atmosphere
i need it close to my mind
and in my soul,
i need it, always near
city good times are what i want
cityscape is my world
buildings that peer then loom
city, i am joining you soon
a skyscraper horizon
is part of the old time heaven
cityscape take me into your heart
i need that city atmosphere
do not let me part
