City – Written March 1994 (Aged 19)

City

I need the city atmosphere near
I need the cityscape in my vision
just make things clear
because the city blues
do not seem to exist
city life,
it is difficult to resist
cityscape seems alright
I do need that city atmosphere
I need it close to my mind
and in my soul,
I need it, always near
city good times are what I want
cityscape is my world
buildings that peer then loom
city, I am joining you soon
a skyscraper horizon
is part of the old-time heaven
cityscape take me into your heart
I need that city atmosphere
do not let me part
