I Live For That Change
It was a weird day
I got out,
to a world, I don’t see
and I heard what you say
and that means so much to me
because often,
I do not know what to do –
when it gets cold and lonely
but it is okay now, I have you
you can cry, if you need to
I am going to protect you
we’ll be together
maybe I can hold you
I have not told you
how I feel life can be so cruel
but I am always near
I got out one day and realised,
things did not have to be the same
and although at the time,
I did not know you
and I had not heard your name
but now I am glad, I do
and I live for that change
