Has it Happened – Written Saturday 11th February 1995 (Aged 19)

Has it Happened

moving around with strangers like you
blowing away the dust
and still we do not know what to do
i am scared, i am in pain
you are not there anymore
you have gotten off the ghost train
you did not even get away
as we bury the remains of our past
we dream of a burned yesterday
one that perhaps, went too fast
but it is alright, i will get to the place
where they they do not just see my face
where i do not have to hide
and at least, they may look inside
i feel that it has happened
