Rusted and Busted (Tattered and Torn)
i do not think –
children grow up anymore
i just think they are born
rusted and busted –
tattered and torn
no one seems to care
need an identity
need something to wear
i do think about –
the way things are going
you see groups of children –
bored and maimed
and you wonder –
what are they doing
how did they get there?
doesn’t anyone care?
rusted and busted –
tattered and torn
children do not grow up
they are just born
