The Child in The Mirror
did you think i did not care
did you ever think that?
i am surprised,
you appear to have forgotten that fact
does my name exist in your mind anymore
you sit down
and i see you putting your weight against it
but how long can you keep closed that door
i know have problems
but we all have problems
and i am not so sure anymore
but still, i search for any solutions
the way you handle things
will make you into the person you will become
so if you want to be somebody decent
then you should handle them well
it could be the ticket you are looking for
it could get you straight out of hell
did you ever reach out
to touch the child in the mirror
is that something that you have tried to do
have you never reached out to the child
perhaps the child is you
perhaps it is the person
who is desperately trying to grow up
and looking at their soul
scared and frightened
because they look so tired and old
i do not want to fight
i just want to say how i feel
then i want you forever out of my life
