Learning to Hold My Breath
At least you know I am here.
I wander blind,
and everything remains unseen,
and you think I am doing well.
You want me to show you the way —
that feels so very strange,
because I am full of pain.
I have not got a clue where I am going;
how could you be convinced otherwise?
Memories scare me half to death.
It is so strange,
just learning to hold your breath.
