People Do not Want to Hear Truths
as a writer
offer –
your readers reassurance
do not –
offer them truths
or latter day horror stories
give them a love story
and homebound glory
as a writer
offer –
something far away from yourself
do not tell them truths
say it is somebody else
do not melt the solid reality
they have built out of plastic
do not give them truths
