Calm My Nerves
success feels strange
like gel
stuck in my brain
coping
feels like eloping
confidence is nervous
and caught smoking
nerves are anxious
they have started joking
help me,
calm my nerves
and my bitten nails
autumn shells
and hope that bails
success feels strange
rearrange, be tamed
hold me,
not in the claws of a crane
