Resign – Written Friday 8th July 2011 (Aged 36)

Resign

will she resign
perhaps in time
but keep your friends close
and enemies closer

i guess,
she will be tight lipped
and she will not speak
she should look before she leaps
if not, she will be pushed
and left in a heap

will she resign
or remain steadfast
believing her values
are hard to recast

i guess,
all this corruption
has gone hand in hand with power
it is a stench
and a toxic shower
