Small Doses
it feels like i work best in small doses
never cul-de-sacs
just tightknit closeness
i work down to the last deal
it is those people
who know how i actually feel
others, run and try to jump
victims of internal combustion
when they count to three
and make slow witted assumptions
it is as if, people can not take time
to walk through corridors of experience
and valleys of your mind
i saw someone speak to me
they pulled me close
lost, i set a piece of sadness free
it feels like i work best in small doses
and with trustworthy faces
