Let’s Just Hold On

let’s just hold on
and look –
to the stars for an answer
let’s cross the road
and find a special dancer

let’s hold on
and look –
to the parents we dreamed of
for the answers
siblings and rivals
school and its railings
it is just a form a survival

let’s hold on –
and look –
to the media for an answer
they try to make it fit
choking as we do
on their media spun bullshit
