The Rain Did Not Help
the rain did not help
but then,
i never expected it to
i wonder if the summer –
will resolve the mood
i know,
that there are reasons to be sad
but i always hope
the dreams did not help
disjointed
and shifting across my sleep
smashing concrete
lazy feet,
i cannot begin to find the words
that adequately describe
how i really feel
the rain did not help
