The Arms of Somebody Else

al that happens –
is that i am left –
feeling less than good –
about myself
and then,
i fall in the arms –
of somebody else
and for whatever reason
they strip me bare
leaving me warped
and in need of care
no one thinks,
maybe if i changed –
my behaviour
then there would be –
a consensus change
what have i done wrong
for someone –
to talk to me –
as if i have no self worth
all that happens –
is that i am left –
in a crowded room
trying to clear up a mess
