Candle Wax – Written October 2005 (Aged 30)

Candle Wax

candle wax
it melts over time
and the flame lessens
can you snuff it out
with just one finger
the memories hang
like smoke that lingers
the love that dies
for which we still hunger

James Garratt – October 2005
