A Lot To Give

i have got a lot to give
should i have offered it to you?
you are happy with the way you live
i’ve got a conscience
i’ve got the time
but your world seems cloudless
why should i bring you to mine?
i have got a lot to give
i would like there to be days
when it is me you miss
but i cannot just take you from a shelf
you are with somebody
i know i shouldn’t offer you these hands
i wish now i was somebody else
i have got a lot to give
i cannot justify this action
won’t you tell me how it is
after all, we all need classification
