There Is A Chance

there is a chance that the dance
will have steps we do not know
that the river of chance,
will have a faster flow
that our time together will go oh so slow
there is a chance that as the days grow long
that the lights,
that have always shone,
will continue to shine so bright
and that they will never be gone
there is a chance that the dance
will have steps we do not know
hold on tight,
and please do not let go
